As aData Scientist (DS3), you will play a crucial role in Ocado Logistics' research focus, providing technical excellence and driving high-quality data solutions. You will be a key contributor to your team’s delivery, ensuring that our analytics capabilities support business decisions effectively.



You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Defining research scope, delivery approach, and ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Leading data science initiatives within your area, mentoring junior team members, and shaping best practices.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, validate assumptions, and define effective solutions.
  • Querying data using SQL and other tools, applying advanced statistical techniques, and ensuring data quality.
  • Developing and maintaining production-ready models, following software engineering best practices.
  • Communicating technical findings effectively through reports, visualizations, and presentations.


About You – Requirements to Be Considered:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with deep expertise in data analysis and research.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation tools, with experience in statistical analysis.
  • Ability to design, scope, and evaluate data science projects independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
