Responsibilities:

Development and Maintenance of Teamcenter PLM Tool: 

Create and maintain workflows and other automated processes within the Teamcenter PLM tool to ensure efficient and effective operations.  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Teamcenter PLM tool to support the engineering team’s needs. 

Driving Data Strategy for Engineering: 

Support the development and implementation of the data strategy for the Engineering function, focusing on leveraging emerging technologies in data science and machine learning.  Work closely with the Engineering leadership team and other Collins resources to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.  Develop and deploy advanced data analytics and machine learning models to enhance the capability and efficiency of Engineering operations.  Advocate for data-driven decision-making within the Engineering team and promote the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.  Monitor industry trends and advancements in data science to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of technological innovation.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility. 

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Science, or a related field.  Expertise in data science, including machine learning, data analytics, and data strategy development. 

Preferred Skills: 

Experience with Teamcenter PLM tool development and maintenance.  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.  Strong communication and collaboration abilities.  Experience working in an aerospace or defence environment is a plus.  Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices.
