The University of Greenwich is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Data Science to contribute to our ambitious online learning strategy, "This is Our Time". This role involves overseeing a programme within our online portfolio, leading the first module, and line managing module leads. The position will initially be part-time (0.3 FTE) from September 2023, increasing to 0.7 FTE by September 2026, and full-time from January 2027.


The successful candidate will have experience in programme/module design and teaching in fully online settings, with a strong understanding of quality, regulatory, and policy requirements for higher education. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential to motivate teams, collaborate with university stakeholders, and shape programme direction.


Greenwich Online offers a vibrant environment, recognized with Gold in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework, committed to expanding access through flexible, high-quality online education. The role allows for remote working with attendance on campus four times a year, with travel costs covered by the university.
