Data Quality Lead:

The Data Quality Lead is a new strategic role that is required to develop and transform the existing Data Services Team into a professional Data Quality function. EDS sits within the IT directorate of Ageas UK.

The Data Management team provides professional data services to a diverse range of customers within the organisation, which include transformational programme teams. Support services are also provided to third-party integration partners.

Main Responsibilities as Data Quality Lead:

You will create and lead the full execution of the Ageas Data Quality Strategy.
You will ensure that the DQ strategy is consistently aligned with the Enterprise Data Strategy and UK Elevate Strategy.
You will create and manage a Data Quality roadmap with outcomes and priorities that are fully aligned with Data Management, Enterprise Data Services, Data Executive Forum actions, and Group Data Management Task Force roadmaps.
You will create and monitor a consistent set of Data Quality KPIs that are focused upon value, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
You will define the Data Quality tooling strategy that is fully aligned with data strategies and transformational programme activities across Ageas UK.

Skills and experience you need as Data Quality Lead:

Excellent coaching skills with experience in training and developing Data Management professionals and Data Stewards to an industry standard.
Practical experience in providing Data Quality consultation in support of transformational data migration activities, including troubleshooting of risk and incident management processes that can be associated with live migrations.
Expert knowledge and ability to apply Data Quality best-practice at an organisational level.
Strong knowledge of Data Governance best-practice and how it compliments Data Quality operations and processes.
Experienced in building data quality practice from the ground-up.
