We are seeking a detail-drivenQA Testerto join our team on alarge-scale data migration project. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that migrated data meets the highest quality standards, profiling data, writing and executing quality rules, and championing data integrity across all dimensions of the data quality framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out in-depthdata profilingon source and target systems to validate data before, during, and after migration.
  • Define, document, and executedata quality rulesto ensure data meets business and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure alldata quality dimensions(accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, uniqueness) are met.
  • Write and runSQL queries(MySQL) to test and validate large datasets.
  • Write database logic as stored proceduresand functions.
  • Document findings andcommunicate resultsclearly to stakeholders.
  • Act as adata quality champion, promoting its importance across the project team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience inQA testingonlarge-scale data migrationswithin the public sector.
  • Excellentattention to detailand problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communicator, able to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding ofdata transformations, ETL workflows, and migration processes.
  • Experience withdata quality toolssuch asGreat Expectations, Microsoft Purview and YData-Profiling.
  • Experience testing BI Dashboards
  • Familiarity with Oracle or other relational databases.
  • Experience in case management or enterprise systems.
