Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Integrator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that the data provided by contractors is validated, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner. You will support the seamless transition of projects from the construction phase to operational use by collating and presenting asset and maintenance data into the correct formats on Southern Water systems.

As a Data Integrator, you will work closely with various teams, including Asset Integrators, Field Performance Managers, MEICA Technicians, SW Quality Managers, and others, to ensure data integrity and compliance throughout the lifecycle of each project.

Responsibilities will include:

Asset Integration & Data Management: Support the integration of new assets by ensuring the transfer of data from construction to operations is accurate and complete.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Liaison: Work with stakeholders, including Project Managers, Design teams, and contractors, to ensure asset and maintenance data meets business requirements and is compliant with all necessary regulations.

System Updates & Governance: Ensure accurate and timely updates to Southern Water’s Ellipse system, including assigning the correct maintenance activities and ensuring all relevant certificates and documentation are uploaded into the system.

Training & Support: Provide expert technical support and training to the SW Ellipse Team, Asset Integrators, and contractors, ensuring that asset data collection is accurate and compliant with project requirements.

Quality Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and audit the quality of asset and maintenance data, ensuring all schemes are defect-free and operational teams are fully trained.

About You

  • Strong technical knowledge in asset data management and systems integration.

  • Experience working within project delivery environments, ideally within the utilities or engineering sector.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

  • A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of data quality.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

    This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.

    Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our Chatham office and home.
