About the Role:

TheData Governance Specialistwill play a key role in supporting the management and compliance of a global pathogen data platform. This position involves ensuring that international partners adhere to data governance policies, particularly in relation to pathogen genomic data and patient information. The specialist will guide partners in their data governance processes, facilitating secure and ethical data sharing within a rapidly growing research network. This is a vital role in enabling the responsible and compliant use of data to drive global health advancements.


Role Responsibility :

  1. Drive data governance excellencein a global health research network
  2. Partner with top institutionsto ensure secure, ethical data sharing
  3. Shape compliance & risk frameworks(GDPR, HIPAA, health data laws)
  4. Develop governance protocols, training & best practices


Role Requirements:

✅ 10+ years in data governance, healthcare, or research compliance

✅ Strong expertise in GDPR, HIPAA & data security

✅ Experience with hospitals, research institutions & software vendors

✅ Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
