Data Governance Business Analyst

Location: Glasgow
Working Pattern: 23 days onsite per week
Rate: £250-£300pd
Contract Length: 10 months

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Business Analyst to support the delivery and ongoing enhancement of enterprise data governance initiatives. This role requires strong regulatory knowledge, hands-on data governance experience, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance Data Governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory and policy alignment

  • Apply strong knowledge of BCBS 239 principles to data governance activities

  • Work with Data Quality (DQ) frameworks and Data Lineage, explaining the how, what, and why to stakeholders

  • Proactively engage with CIOs, business units, functions, application owners, and delegates

  • Provide:

    • Technical support

    • Troubleshooting

    • Issue investigation and resolution

    • Stakeholder engagement

    • Tracking and reporting of data-related issues
