Data Engineer (PySpark SQL Databricks AWS) London / WFH to £70k

Opportunity to progress your career as a Data Engineer at a scaling, tech-driven company that specialises in music royalty management. The company has invested significantly in data processing capabilities, with a modern data platform handling billions of lines of royalty data with an emphasis on streaming.

As a Data Engineer, your focus will be on Data Ingestion—bringing in data from various sources, then processing, cleaning, and standardising datasets that leverage the company's bespoke data infrastructure. You will prepare audits and carry out analysis, primarily working with PySpark, SQL, and Databricks within an AWS environment.

Location / WFH:

You can work remotely most of the time, meeting colleagues in the London office two or three times a month.

About you:

  • Strong experience as a Data Engineer within the Music industry or an Accountancy environment
  • Strong technical skills with PySpark, SQL, Databricks, and AWS
  • Experience with ETL pipelines and Data Warehouse / Data Lakes
  • Degree educated in mathematics or a similar numerate discipline
  • Collaborative with excellent communication skills
  • Interest in the music industry is a plus
