Summary

A UK-wide manufacturing company is looking for a Data Engineer to join their established Data and Business Intelligence team. You'd be joining a team of passionate individuals to work on the optimization of data systems and flows.

The role is being offered on a hybrid basis from their Doncaster office, with one day of travel per month to fulfil ad hoc duties across their UK offices.

The Role

The role as opened up as the company require a talented individual who can collaborate with teams across the business to understand their data needs, and deliver excellent data solutions that will meet their long-term goals and visions.

You'd be responsible for translating data requirements from source systems to presentation views across a large number of domains, ensuring data security and assist with the development of a state-of-the-art data hub which will form a single source of truth across the business.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of CRM and ERP systems with excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills. Your responsibilities will include:

API Management Assist in the identification, analysis and escalation of problems, and provide suitable resolutions Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes Contribute your expertise to the design and implementation of company-wide data platforms and scalable storage solutions Identify, diagnose and resolve data-related needs and issues Technical Documentation Creating solutions (Power Apps / Power Automate)
