Azure Data Engineer Duration - 6 Months Day Rate -£400 a day (Inside IR35) Location – Mostly remote with 1 or 2 daysa month in Manchester About the Role We’re seeking an experiencedData Engineer to contribute to the creation of a new data warehouseusing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. Working closely withthe Data and Reporting team, you'll help build a new data warehousethat enhances data-driven decision-making and supports ourorganisation's growth. This role will involve designing anddeveloping a new data warehouse and data pipelines, integratingdata sources, and ensuring data quality and governance. Strongcommunication skills are essential, as you’ll collaborate with bothtechnical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain a robust Data Warehouse, optimising it forperformance and scalability. - Design and build data pipelines toconnect various data sources such as APIs, files, and databases tothe Data Platform. - Manage end-to-end ETL/ELT processes, includinga dimensionally modelled semantic layer. - Define and enforce dataquality measures within pipelines to ensure data integrity. - Setup monitoring and alerting systems for data solutions. - Create andmanage CI/CD pipelines for the Data Platform. - Translatestakeholder requirements into technical solutions, ensuringalignment with business objectives. - Work within an Agile Kanbanframework, handling code, reviews, tests, and deployment throughsource control. Skills and Experience Required: - Strong experiencewith Microsoft Azure ecosystem tools, specifically Azure DataFactory, Azure Synapse, or Azure SQL. - Solid understanding of ETLtools and methods. - Experience in CI/CD practices for datasolutions. - Experience with Microsoft Fabric is beneficial. -Familiarity with Salesforce or Workday is a plus.
