6 month contract, flexible rate, outside IR35, hybrid (approx. 1-2 days pw onsite in London)

We are currently looking for a DV Cleared Data Engineer to join one of our key clients in the Defence sector. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our client's data infrastructure. You will work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality data processing, governance, and availability. Your expertise in ETL processes, particularly with Informatica, will be vital in supporting our client's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Integration:Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica to ensure seamless data integration from various sources.
• Data Governance:Implement and uphold data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Database Management:Manage and optimise databases, ensuring efficient data storage and performance.
• Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, workflows, and system architectures.
• Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements to enhance data processes and systems.
