Are you ready to take your data engineering skills to the next level? We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our innovative team and work closely with our Data Lead to implement a cutting-edge Business Intelligence (BI) platform. About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming our organisation into a data-driven enterprise. Your primary responsibilities will include data ingestion from diverse source systems, development of data pipelines through both ETL tools and programming languages such as Python. You’ll ensure that this data is structured, optimised, and accessible for our Power BI developers and business analysts, empowering them to turn data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimise ETL processes to ensure data is readily available and useful. Create dynamic scripts for the ingestion of data with clear documentation. Collaborate with Power BI developers and business analysts to ensure data meets their needs. Foster a data-centric culture by making data accessible and actionable for decision-making. Contribute to strategic planning and performance evaluations through effective data utilisation.

About you

We’re seeking a talented data professional with a strong grasp of the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem and modern DevOps practices. You bring hands-on experience in data ingestion, transformation, and management, with a proven ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions. You're confident working with Big Data technologies and tools such as SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data Factory (ADF), and you know how to turn complex data challenges into streamlined, reliable systems.

You will excel in data warehouse modelling, especially with Kimball methodology and Medalion architecture approaches. With your sharp analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving, you’re not just about the numbers - you love coaching and helping others grow their technical knowledge too! Your attention to detail and organisational skills make you a fantastic team player who prioritises tasks to get things done efficiently.
