Your New RoleAs a Data Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in designing, building, and optimising data pipelines and infrastructure that support advanced analytics and modelling. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to manageplex ETL processes, implement best practices in code management, and ensure seamless data flow across platforms. Projects may include connecting SharePoint to Databricks, optimising Spark jobs, and managing GitHub-based code promotion workflows. This is a
hybrid role based in London, with 1–2 days per week in the office.
What You’ll Need to Succeed- Mid to senior level hands-on data engineering experience
- Expert-level skills in Python and/or Scala, SQL, and Apache Spark
- High proficiency with Databricks and Databricks Asset Bundles
- Strong understanding of data transformation best practices
- Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets
- Proficient in GitHub and DBT for version control and data workflows
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with strong ownership mindset
- Excellentmunicator, able to explainplex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Bonus: Experience with media/social platform data and tools like Power BI
