Brand new Outside IR35 Contract Opportunity for a MoD DV Cleared Data Engineer with Palantir Experience for an Exciting Defence SME in Hereford.

Overview

This contract role involves supporting recruitment for MoD DV cleared Data Engineers and related roles, with on-site work in Hereford and outside IR35 conditions. Lead recruiters will place candidates across security-cleared domains (DevOps, Cloud, Data, Cyber, Infrastructure).

Base pay range

Responsibilities
  • Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating discussions with multidisciplinary teams, including military users.
  • Data Integration – build clean, reliable, and compliant pipelines in Foundry using Pipeline Builder and Python.
  • Design and manage ontologies to structure data effectively, leveraging Link Types and Actions for optimal use in Foundry and Workshop.
  • Application Development – create full-stack applications with Foundry tools to deliver intuitive interfaces and workflows.
Experience Required
  • Building and deploying applications in Palantir Foundry.
  • Solid engineering background, ideally in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
  • Analytical mindset with a drive to solve problems using data structures, storage systems, cloud platforms, front-end frameworks, and related tools.
  • Effective collaborator with both technical and non-technical teams, adaptable to fast-changing environments and shifting goals.
