We are looking for an experienced data engineer to maintain, improve and develop our ETL pipelines.

As a Data Engineer, you will be working within the business, collaborating with partner teams on data consolidation and reporting initiatives enabling the business to make data driven decisions. This is a new role and a fantastic opportunity for someone to make their mark by driving and enabling our data vision.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure, including warehouses, lakes, databases, and ETL pipelines.
  • Build scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data while ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Implement data quality controls and validation processes.
  • Monitor and analyze data trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical scenarios to various stakeholders.
  • Document data processes flows and system configurations for effective communication.

What we’re looking for:Must have skills/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in a Data & Analytics related discipline
  • Knowledge of data structures and data architecture
  • Understanding of relational databases and data warehousing
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Experience in writing technical documentation
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest technologies in the field of data engineering
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Advantageous skills/experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, including development, implementation, and optimization in large-scale environments.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with SQL server SSIS packages.
  • Experience with reporting tools AWS QuickSight, PowerBI.
