Stakeholder Satisfaction (DS/ML Team Enablement) - ≥4/5 satisfaction score

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
Ensure the availability, quality, and reliability of data used for AI/ML systems
Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product teams
Optimize performance of data infrastructure (batch and real-time systems)
Integrate data from internal APIs, third-party platforms, and raw user events
Own and manage data warehousing tools and orchestration platforms (e.g. Airflow, dbt)
Identify and fix bottlenecks in data workflows
Establish and enforce data quality, versioning, and governance best practices
Contribute to architectural decisions on AI-ready data systems
Maintain clear, well-documented data infrastructure and pipelines
Support technical recruitment and interviews

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in backend/data engineering

Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake)
Understanding of data modeling and schema design
Experience integrating APIs and managing streaming/batch data flows
Demonstrated ability to support ML/AI workflows with high-quality data infrastructure
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Experience working within an Agile development team (SCRUM)

Nice to haves

Experience with Kafka or other streaming tools
Familiarity with data lake architectures
Exposure to MLOps tooling and model monitoring practices
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
AWS certification or cloud infrastructure experience
