Because this is a cross-business role, we need a special someone who can share their data knowledge, influence decision making and effortlessly deliver data solutions in complex environments.

As part of our Data Strategy, we’re recruiting for both this role and the additional new role of Data Engineer, we’re hoping that our new Data Architect can utilise their expertise, taking part in the recruitment of our Data Engineer!

A few key points from our role profile:

  • Lead on the delivery and implementation of the Group’s data strategy.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models, standards, and frameworks.
  • Enable seamless data integration across systems and applications aligned with business needs.

You’ll be a real problem solver, someone with a natural passion for data who is excited by translating business needs into technical data solutions and you’re ready to apply your understanding of data architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies to make a lasting difference for colleagues and customers.

You'll support, develop and have line management responsibility for a Data Engineer, who will lead on the management and integration of data through ETL processes. You'll also be working seamlessly with other data teams, such as those delivering reporting, cyber security, data policies and data regulations.

You’ve the ability to work accurately, deliver high standards and work to tight deadlines which will make you a great fit for our forward thinking ICT Team.
