Salary: Up to £100,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Data Architect to join our forward-thinking Data Science team. This is a unique opportunity to shape innovative solutions across data, analytics, and AI, while delivering impactful results for a diverse range of clients.

In this role, you'll tackle complex challenges, designing and implementing data architecture strategies that align with governance models and operational needs. You’ll also play a pivotal role in shaping data management practices, working on cutting-edge topics such as AI, machine learning, data governance, and cloud-based analytics platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver data architecture solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring alignment with governance and target operating models.
• Work across all aspects of data, analytics, and AI, including strategy, governance, management, architecture, and systems implementation.
• Collaborate on data transformation projects within financial services, implementing data systems across the entire project lifecycle.
• Utilize frameworks like DCAM and DAMA DMBoK to design data methodologies.
• Lead on advanced topics such as AI, GenAI, MLOps, Business Intelligence, and Data Governance.
• Apply your expertise in data patterns, including relational databases, data lakes, graph databases, and cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in financial services, with a strong track record of delivering data-centric solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture patterns, operating models, and key data-centric technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Collibra).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks, including GDPR, BCBS239, and the EU AI Act.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to represent the team at all levels.
• A passion for innovation and a commitment to learning and growth.
• Experience in shaping bids and creating compelling proposals is a plus.
