An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Solution Architect to become part of the National Data and Analytics (NDA) Platform & Engineering Team. The team works on providing data to drive the business forward, collaborating with Business Partners, Data Scientists and Report Developers to deliver data‑driven solutions.


Your New Role

  • Project Management of demands and initiatives
  • Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing
  • Design and develop data models, ETL processes and data integration pipelines
  • Complete Data Engineering end‑to‑end ownership of demand delivery
  • Provide technical guidance for team members
  • Provide 2nd or 3rd level technical support

About You

  • Experience using SQL, SQL Server DB, Python & PySpark
  • Experience using Databricks and Cloudsmith
  • Data Warehousing Experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business language
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a solution‑oriented mindset
  • Capable of handling substantial responsibility with a practical, results‑focused approach
  • An enthusiasm for technology, whilst being customer and business focused
  • Logical and analytical approach, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressure

What You'll Get in Return

  • Salary starting £61,895 rising to £80,400
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity for 2 days a week remote working
