The purpose of the role is to support a large transformational project with data architecture expertise. By understanding the data landscape (current and target); looking for opportunities to improve our data understanding and where data can be further leveraged; and ensuring we have alignment to the data strategy e.g. identifying data ownership.
You will bring your data knowledge of data platforms, cataloguing, data mastery, and data governance to inform the solution designs.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful
- Extensive experience in data modelling, designing and implementing data warehouses, and data transformation in regulated environments;
- Proficient in relational and non-relational databases, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric;
- Strong knowledge of Big Data technologies, enterprise architecture, and business models;
- Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks;
- Experienced in financial analysis, risk management, data migration, and handling sensitive data (e.g., GDPR, PII).
