We conduct various kinds of research for our product teams: IntelliJ based IDEs, Fleet, TeamCity, and YouTrack.We are currently looking for talented, inventive, and passionate people to join our growing team.
As part of our team, you will:

Develop a system of metrics for the advancement of JetBrains products: where usability problems occur within the product, how changes to the product affect its metrics, and what experiments are necessary to improve the product.
Perform A/B testing, develop testing conditions, and interpret the results.
Provide recommendations for product improvement and search for the best solutions for UX enhancement.
Collaborate with managers, developers, and designers.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support product decision-making.
We’ll be happy to bring you on board if you have:

Strong analytical thinking skills, including the ability to challenge hypotheses, analyze and structure data, draw conclusions, and interrelate data.
Proficiency in mathematical statistics and practical experience applying it.
Confidence using Python (Pandas, NumPy) and experience with SQL.
Ability to determine the appropriate approach to data assessment: analytics, research, or leveraging external data.
At least one year of experience in data analysis or a related field.
Commitment, strong self-management skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to solve complex problems under conditions of incomplete data.
Our ideal candidate would have:
Experience solving non-trivial tasks.
A proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in research-oriented roles.
