Data Analytics Manager - Internal Audit

The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a team of BI professionals and data scientists. This includes ensuring that requests are appropriately prioritized and workloads efficiently managed across both BI and data science functions. The role will drive the development of a self-serve data mentality across the business and lead the execution of advanced analytics projects adding significant value to the wider business.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, as well as hands-on expertise in SQL, Power BI, and data science tools such as Python

Team & Workload Management

  • Line management responsibilities for a team of BI developers and data scientists to support the MI, data insights, and advanced analytics needs of the wider business.
  • Support team development through regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, identification of training requirements, and creating a shared learnings culture.
  • Through your team, provide business support across the creation of reporting datasets, BI reports, dashboards, and predictive analytics models.
  • Prioritising requests and management of team workloads, balancing short-term reporting needs with longer-term data science initiatives.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed within timelines and to high-quality standards.
