Location: Milton Keynes

Closing Date: 30th September 2025

Salary: £22,912.50 pa

Contract: 12-13 months FTC Start dates are usually in June/July

Hybrid working: We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.

To apply for our undergraduate placement scheme, you must be studying for an undergraduate degree that requires a placement year. Master’s students are not eligible for this placement.

We are looking for two passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Data Analytics and Insights Undergraduate, you will be an analytical thinker with exceptional numerical skills. If you're a driven individual and eager to combine your analytical expertise, creativity, and passion for storytelling through data into charts and reports then we want to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

  • Design and develop scheduled and ad hoc reporting on profit and performance.
  • Update and analyse reports and processes used to drive decision making across the business
  • Aid with the creation of business cases and growth plans to improve business performance
  • Conduct data collation, interrogation and analysis on specified datasets within the Contract Hire, Finance Lease, Corporate and Value-Added Products areas in both Retail and Fleet
  • Attend meetings with subject matter experts from across the business to create/update procedures
  • Carry out the auditing, reconciliation and invoicing of Tactical investments, exceeding c. £100m per annum

  • Studying a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Be highly numerical and analytical.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Intermediate level of excel knowledge and skills.

What Our Recruitment Process Looks Like

  • Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
  • You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
  • If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
  • If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.

Please note: Our undergraduate placement roles do not meet the UKVI’s criteria for the skilled worker sponsorship route, therefore we are unable to accept candidates requiring sponsorship for this role.
