Flutter UKI are on the hunt for a passionate individual to join our dynamic Trading Team as a Data Analyst.

Our Trading Team power performance and drive great customer experiences to keep our Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Betting & Gaming brands at number one. This Data Analyst role is based in the Quants & Analytics function, who are the hub of innovation and cutting – edge reporting for all things Trading.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll organise and analyse large data sets to spot key trends, patterns, and insights around our Trading performance. You’ll turn complex data in to digestible stories, working closely with our Traders to ensure they can make informed and strategic decisions about the product delivered to our customers.

This role is all about working with our Traders to understand their needs, and to educate them on important insights which will ultimately help to drive our product performance and put our customer first.

What we’re looking for:

Proficiency in analytics and data manipulation tools. The key ones we use are SQL and Excel, anything else (like Looker, Python, R, or Tableau) is a bonus!

Someone with proven experience of turning big data in to a story. You’ll draw out key narratives that will ultimately help our Trading Teams to enhance their performance.

Experience of creating accessible visuals in Powerpoint to assist your data storytelling.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive and productive stakeholder relationships and provide a tailored service.

A passion for continuous improvement, innovation and driving high performance.
