Data Analyst - People Systems
Hybrid | Manchester | Permanent
Salary Up to £43k Depending on experience + Comprehensive Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage people data in Oracle HCM, including audits, cleansing, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT to triage tickets, test new features, enhancements, and upgrades before deployment.
  • Control access for all people systems, performing monthly cleansing.
  • Coordinate with Oracle Support for system upgrades and enhancements, and communicate benefits to users.
  • Generate dashboards and reports to provide meaningful insights for the business.
  • Ensure data accuracy to support business decision-making, working with People teams to improve data quality.
  • Adhere to GDPR in storing and sharing data securely.
  • Provide clear headcount data to assist staffing and budgeting decisions.
  • Manage position management, bulk uploads, annual salary reviews, and administrative tasks in Oracle.
  • Present data findings clearly in various formats to stakeholders.
  • Develop methods to measure ROI on people-related costs and initiatives.
  • Create reports in Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher for team use.
  • Work with IT to leverage technology, automation, and GenAI in People platforms.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced organization.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence, data extraction, and reporting tools, preferably Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Oracle position management and system maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with teams and executives.
  • Confidentiality and data security expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Oracle HCM.
  • Effective virtual presentation and training skills.
  • Experience in systems testing, scripting, and user guidance.
  • Proven ability in complex data analysis and dashboard development.
