About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamicData & Analytics Departmentthat plays a key role in delivering insights to support clinical and operational excellence across the Trust.

As a Data Analyst, you will:


Collect, analyse, and present data from multiple sourcesCollaborate with clinical, managerial, and external stakeholdersProduce regular and ad-hoc reports to support planning, performance, and decision-makingDevelop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BIWrite and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract and manipulate dataEnsure the integrity, consistency, and quality of data in line with Trust standards and national guidelines


You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting tools, processes, and data governance frameworks, working closely with a team of experienced analysts and reporting to the Data & Analytics Lead.

Key Responsibilities


Produce routine and ad hoc reports for internal teams and external requests (including Freedom of Information requests)Develop and maintain reports inPower BIorExcelWrite and troubleshootSQLqueries for data extraction and transformationAssist in the development of reporting systems and dashboards (ORBIT reports)Ensure compliance with data quality standards and policiesSupport the Trust in delivering safe, effective, and evidence-led care

Person Specification


Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applicationsExperience working withdatabasesand analytical toolsExperience withPower BIorTableauSQLexperienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
