Team/Role Overview

The Markets Intelligence team focuses on developing commercial insights from internal & external data sets, deploying data science capabilities across Markets. We focus on Projects founded in novel ideas or existing manual processes, which we can scale and/or automate by using Data and Machine Learning/NLP/LLM. This role has a Global footprint and will have significant impact in terms of influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others across the broader Markets organization.


This position requires collaboration with various teams within Markets to align, coordinate, challenge and implement results with components of the data intelligence and analytics framework.


What you’ll do

This role will require utilizing next gen data science techniques for practical business applications, including model development using Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.



  • Interfaces with subject matter experts to understand processes and their end products
  • Source and collate data to build the use case and perform exploratory analysis to validate its usability
  • Be able to leverage Machine Learning/NLP/LLM where appropriate
  • Write the code to support the building of the use case
  • Create and deliver executive, high-impact output which directly improves the business, and communicate clearly through demos and presentations

What we’ll need from you

The preferred candidate is a self-starter who can work to solve complex financial and analytical problems.



  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM/Finance
  • Demonstrable knowledge of NLP and/or gen AI
  • Understanding of Financial Markets products such as Equities, Credit, or Rates will be a plus
  • Experience with python for analytics, or object orientated coding
  • Highly effective communicator, able to interact with stakeholders
  • Sound logical thinking, good attitude / work ethics
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
