Job Summary:The Data Analyst is responsible for creating best-in-class analytic dashboards and supporting business efforts with reporting and analytics. This role involves implementing improvements and automation in current reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Create best-in-class analytic dashboards using Power BI. Support business efforts with reporting and analytics as needed. Implement improvements and automation in current reporting processes. Design and support data lake houses, maintenance processes, and projects. Create APIs and data pipelines using Python. Utilize Power BI to conduct business analytics supporting business teams Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including creating data lakehouses and pipelines. Apply knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and database principles. Use SQL and Python for data analysis and automation. Employ Microsoft Tech Stack, including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI (DAX & M), and Power Automate. Demonstrate experience in automating reporting and data processes.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience creating dashboards and conducting business analytics with Power BI. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Fabric preferred (data lakehouses, data pipelines). Working knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and database principles. Intermediate proficiency in SQL and Python. Strong knowledge of Power BI (DAX & M). Demonstrated experience automating data processes and reporting preferred. Experience creating APIs and data pipelines using Python. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable.
Work Environment:
The role may require prolonged periods of sitting, as well as occasional standing and walking. The ability to lift and carry files and documents weighing up to 10 pounds may be necessary. The work is primarily performed in an indoor office environment, with occasional visits to other locations for support and audits.
