Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the Engineering Team Lead for Reporting & Analytics to deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Develop metrics‑based benchmarks and visualizations to demonstrate the impact of fraud detection and enforcement.
  • Enhance data accessibility and clarity in partnership with the Data Engineering team to support better insights.
  • Develop data‑driven recommendations for platform efficacy improvement.
  • Protect consumers and brands by using operations data to drive business optimization and enable more value for clients.
  • Spend time: 80% hands‑on data analysis and insights generation; 20% customer and user engagement.

Essential Qualifications

  • A love of data, analytics and problem solving.
  • Hands‑on experience working in data and insights focused roles.
  • Solid SQL coding level; proficiency in Python highly desirable.
  • Experience working with ClickHouse environment is a plus.
  • Understanding of data‑modelling tools such as dbt is a plus.
  • Understanding of key statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data tables into actionable, digestible information.
  • Curiosity and desire to learn.
  • Ability to interact with data in application data stores, data warehouses, and within business intelligence tools such as Google Looker, Metabase, PowerBI or similar.
  • A desire to delight customers – you will have a deep understanding of their needs and help them see future opportunities, including modern technology and new ways to combat scammer behaviour.
