Overview


We are seeking a skilled and proactiveData Analystto manage and enhance data assets within our presentational layer.


This role is central to the maintenance and development of our data warehouse and the creation of effective data marts and semantic models that support reporting and business intelligence.


Based in eitherHoddesdonorFarringdon, this position requires strong technical expertise in data transformation, data modelling, and warehouse development, alongside the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficientdata warehouses, data marts, andsemantic modelsusingSQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)andPower BI
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data models
  • Validate data models through Power BI reports and support data quality initiatives
  • Apply a deep understanding of business logic to develop meaningful and reliable data structures
  • Monitor performance, identify and resolve issues, and ensure ongoing reliability and integrity of data models


About You


  • Proven experience as aData Analystwithin anAzureenvironment in a medium or large organisation
  • Strong knowledge ofdata transformation,modelling principles, anddata warehouse/mart architecture
  • Hands-on experience withPower BIand semantic model development
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and understand their data needs
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • Azure data certificationsare desirable but not essential
