The Strategic Data Analyst is an onsite position located at Windermere, FL office. The Data Analyst will be part of a supply chain analysis team, working on dynamic projects to improve and track supply chain cost and operations performance through advanced analytics, logistics optimization, and creation of KPI's and metrics. This is an entry level position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for data extraction/compilation/maintenance from multiple sources using MS Access, Excel, SQL, and VBA
Provide analysis of data through spreadsheets and relational databases
Identify data needed, source of data, and extraction/consolidation method for given report/metric subject
Identify opportunities through data analysis and provide solution recommendations
Develop new and enhance current strategic KPI's/metrics to track supply chain performance
Provide summary and ad-hoc reports and presentations for executive managers
Create and maintain end user reports for operations
Participate in and lead cross-functional teams to address important business issues
Assist in the production of monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting of Freight Financials, Budget, and Forecasting
Qualifications:
Exhibit a passion for the food and agriculture industry
Familiarity with Operation's Research and Supply Chain specific subject matter
Highly motivated with strong communication skills, to drive business process improvements resulting from their analysis
Comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic work setting
Strong interest in supply chain operations, particularly transportation and warehousing
SQL a plus
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent experience
Requirements:
1 year of relevant work experience (including co-op/internship) related to reporting/data in supply chain
Solid understanding of statistical principles, including how to quantify and manage uncertainty
Advance knowledge of MS Office applications - specifically Excel and Access
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently, within a group, and cross-functionally.
Ability to influence and gain consensus using meaningful data and effective communication.
Ability to understand and map processes.
