Job Description

Data Analyst - Bedford (hybrid) – up to £50,000 DOE


International client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Data Analyst to be responsible for gathering, cleaning, organising, modelling, and visualising data to extract valuable insights that can inform decision-making. This role includes conducting ongoing variance analysis, tracking actual and forecast performance against key benchmarks, and ensuring data is properly formatted and business ready.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform variance analysis on an ongoing basis, tracking performance against key benchmarks such as Budget, 5 Year Plan, and last year
  • Build and fix reports, dashboards, and data visualisations, ensuring data is properly formatted and ready for use in business tools such as Power BI, Power Pivot, and Query
  • Provide insight and intelligence along with reports, utilizing data visualization techniques to effectively communicate findings through charts, reports, and dashboards
  • Develop a deep understanding of products and processes through the analysis of data collected
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, people management, prioritisation, and the ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data
