Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to oversee our organisation's data reporting, analysis, and visualisation efforts. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Power BI expertise with a track record of automation within a regulated environment.
This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making across the business by ensuring the delivery of insightful, accurate, and timely management information.
You will be applying your advanced analytical skills, across complex data, commercial and product scenarios, guiding strategy, planning and operational activities. Your responsibility for delivery of management information, will be invaluable for equipping our teams with game changing insights.
You will play a critical role in design and production of Management Information (MI). You will engage and collaborate with colleagues, communicating your researched insights in order to drive individuals, teams and projects in their actions.
Lead the MI function, ensuring data integrity, accuracy and timeliness of reports
Drive the automation agenda, removing manual processes and building scalable MI solutions as a foundation for growth
Respond to ad-hoc data requests from colleagues
Prioritisation of regular and ad hoc reporting to satisfy external and internal stakeholders
Maintain the integrity of the MI Process with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current, complete and consistent
Continuously review and improve MI processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and relevance of reporting
Responsibilities
You will have an eye for detail which is second to none and be keen to keep learning in a tech savvy environment. You will be able to communicate the relevance and importance of your data insights, guiding colleagues towards achieving exceptional outcomes.
Data Visualisation: Expertise in creating interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. (Essential)
SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. (Essential)
Data Warehousing: Experience with Snowflake for data storage and management. (Preferred)
Data Analysis: Advanced analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights
DirectQuery & ETL: Experience working with DirectQuery mode and designing efficient ETL processes. (Preferred)
Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to translate technical concepts into insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Proven track record of prioritising and managing department objectives.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver a high level of accuracy in the role
Have the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to ensure business critical work is completed
At least two years experience working with Power BI
A good team player who can also work from own initiative especially with data
Location
London or Belfast (5 or 4 days per week in the office).
Travel to other locations may be required on occasion.
