Data Analyst – IT Consultancy – £550-650pd Inside IR35 - Remote


Overview:

I’m currently partnered with a leading IT consultancy delivering innovative data and digital solutions to a range of enterprise clients across sectors including retail, healthcare, and manufacturing. The team thrives on solving complex business challenges using modern technologies and are now looking to expand their data capability with a skilled Data Analyst who can hit the ground running. You’ll play a key part in supporting end-to-end data transformation projects with a strong focus on product and item-level data. Working closely with the engineering and business consulting teams, you will be instrumental in leveraging data to drive actionable insights for their clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, cleanse, and model complex product/item data sets for reporting and analytics
  • Work with Informatica P360 (Product 360) to manage and optimise product data pipelines
  • Develop data workflows and perform advanced analysis using Databricks and Azure Data Services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specs
  • Ensure high data quality, consistency, and alignment across systems
  • Create dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst within consultancy or large-scale IT project environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica / P360 for MDM or product-related data initiatives
  • Proficient in Azure Stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, etc.)
  • Solid experience with Databricks for big data processing and analysis
  • Excellent SQL skills and ability to manipulate, interpret, and present complex data sets
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data modelling principles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills


Desirable Skills:

  • Background working with retail, eCommerce, or manufacturing datasets
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools
