Job summary

As Data Analyst you will be a key support to Operational leaders, helping them to drive operational efficiencies and improved operational delivery. You will be working closely with Operational and Bookings Teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data used in the reporting and planning of the business.

Role: Data AnalystLocation: Home-based / Nationwide with regular visits to our Middlewich and High Wycombe OfficeSalary:CompetitiveIntroduction:

As Data Analyst you will be a key support to Operational leaders, helping them to drive operational efficiencies and improved operational delivery. You will be working closely with Operational and Bookings Teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data used in the reporting and planning of the business. You will leverage the data effectively to suggest and recommend operational improvements and then work with operational teams to agree actions to drive improved performance.

What you will do:

You will work closely with operational & booking team leaders and other support teams to drive business performance to make healthcare better for our patients by:

Business Partnering the operational Senior Management Team; Building strong relationships across the organisation to drive business performance. Supporting new business opportunities, working with the business to ensure accurate patient forecasting and trajectories with rigorous data analyses and modelling to support; Providing relevant, accurate reporting, enabling business performance to be tracked and understood; Analyse data with key operational leaders to help improve processes Using foresight to identify opportunities to improve operational performance or patient experience;

What you are responsible for:Identifying system and process developments to ensure focus on continual improvement of activities within the TLHC Team. Ensuring that efficiency is paramount within the business by identifying areas where changes are required to improve operational efficiency. Improving the efficiency of the business by evaluating options around operating models (opening hours, booking system costs, etc.), use of capacity and contract by contract performance against modelled activity levels. Monthly CT scheduling and ongoing changes in line with monthly and quarterly forward look and activity/trajectory updates Ongoing, monthly review of contract by contract progress and review of actual versus planned trajectory, updating activity levels to maintain compliance with KPIs and trajectory targets Supporting on tenders and bids through providing up to date patient level activity assumptions and modelling Close, accurate monitoring of performance at a programme and PCN level, particularly in the areas of Uptake Rates, High Risk Conversion Rates and Recall Rates Being a subject matter expert within Spectra, able to support the business and proficiently create and run required reporting. Working with the Bookings team to enrich the level of data and identify areas of improvement to drive higher programme uptake rates Management of the GP Tracker and data management report pulling together data from various departments to give an overview of the situation with GP data, highlighting areas of potential concern and suggesting remedial actions Ongoing of audit and review of CT Throughput, maintaining a full understanding of the daily activity reports and analysis with the wider teams of any issues or trends identified, particularly highlighting underperforming programmes and any reasons for this with suggestions for change to improve performance and efficiency Perform supplier invoice reviews and reconciliations Ongoing monitoring and review of patients journey through the TLHC pathway, ensuring they are flowing through the programme as they should be focus on contact attempts and timescales and pathway statuses and changes to these, amongst other things Review of GP data exports focus on numbers exported and split of eligible and ineligible patientsYou have experience of:Several years of experience working within a data analytics department. Computer literate (MS Office) including advanced Excel. Experience at manipulating and analysing high volumes of data and reporting findings concisely and understanding the commercial drivers behind the numbers. Ability to review business processes and performance on an operational level Proven track record in making and delivering operational efficiency recommendations To communicate effectively with operational colleagues as well as be seen as a credible partner to senior management. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of understanding and enthusiasm about the business. SQL (Desirable) Business Intelligence software packages (Desirable) Person Specification
