An innovative and growing financial organisation are looking for a dynamic Credit Risk Manager to join their commercial team and lead the development of smart, data-driven credit strategies that support sustainable lending! Your expertise will directly influence risk policies and help create fairer access to financial solutions for thousands of customers!

What we're looking for:

Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in Financial Services with a focus on credit risk
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Excel
Hands-on experience with credit bureau data and scoring techniques
Strong communicator who can simplify complex data for broad audiences
Highly analytical and adaptable in fast-paced environments
Experience with Salesforce or data visualisation toolsThe finer elements of the role include:

Develop and monitor both custom and bureau-based credit scorecards
Build predictive models (e.g., Probability of Default) to improve credit decisions
Leverage credit bureau data (e.g., TransUnion, Experian) to enhance segmentation and risk strategies
Conduct exploratory analysis and data cleaning to ensure data quality
Lead A/B testing and controlled experiments to evaluate strategy effectiveness
Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
