About the Computing Department:
The Computing department is made up of passionate and experienced teachers who foster creativity, analytical thinking, and technical skills. Students are encouraged to explore programming, data science, and digital systems in a stimulating learning environment. GCSE and A-Level results are consistently strong, and the department actively promotes enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs and tech competitions.

Responsibilities:
• Teach Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and optionally KS5
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
• Develop student understanding and enthusiasm for computing
• Support with assessment, feedback, and progression tracking
• Participate in departmental development and whole-school initiatives
• Provide pastoral support as a form tutor

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Computer Science or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• ECTs are encouraged to apply
