Can you analyse and manipulate data with ease? Can you code using T-SQL? Have you previously worked in a regulated environment like Insurance or Financial Services? If so, we need you!

We’re looking for someone to join ourCommercial & Marketingteam as aCommercial Data Analytics Developereitherworking remotelyor based in ourSalford Quays, ManchesterorHaywards Heath, West Sussexoffice.

In this role your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with the marketing team, translating business requirements into actionable insights through data analysis, propensity modelling, and the development of BI reporting. You will leverage your skills in data analytics, segmentation, and model development, to enhance our marketing capabilities and improve customer outcomes.

Core skills we’re looking for to succeed in the role:

 Experience analysing marketing data using T-SQL and/or Python  Experience of statistical modelling  Experience developing BI reports using Power BI or similar tools

Nice to have skills, but optional:

Experience of DAX, Power Query and SAS Experience of a regulated environment such as Insurance or Financial Services

What’s Involved

Responsible for capturing data requirements to design, develop and optimise marketing data models which support new and existing marketing initiatives Responsible for creation and maintenance of marketing campaign performance BI reports Analyse the quality of data created through marketing activities, understand the impact it has on performance and determine the root cause Segmenting our customer data to improve the customer experience and drive value through improved targeting Use your experience to solve technically complex marketing questions and assist non-technical colleagues in understanding results Collaborate with external marketing agencies to extract and supply transformed compliant data for marketing activities Comply with the requirements, and act in accordance with, the Group Code of Conduct and Fitness and Propriety policies at all times Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Values and guidelines and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times Participate in annual staff appraisal, staff development and in-service training activities in line with the Commercial Data Competency Framework Any other reasonable duties

Experience & knowledge

Proven experience in statistical modelling Extensive experience coding with T-SQL and/or Python, manipulating large datasets Extensive experience in analysing marketing data Experience using Power BI, Power Query and DAX Experience of a marketing / insurance environment advantageous

Skills & Qualifications

Superb communication and collaboration skills Ability to decompose complex data requests into a simple roadmap of deliverables Passion for creating data structures, models and reports which allow users to solve business problems Ability to influence and support stakeholders, and confidently manage expectations in a dynamic environment
