TheCommercial Analytics Managerwillplaya vital role inprovidingcommercially focusedanalytical insight forthe global airline demand segmentat PLS, to drive growth, increasesite performanceandfoster strong connections with stakeholders.Workingwitha cross-functionalteam of stakeholders,theCommercial Analytics Managerwill buildcompelling business cases for data-driven initiatives, manageproactiveanalyticsprojects,andactasasubject matter expert onairline demanddata. 

 

The ideal candidate would have strong analytical & technical skills, paired with commercial acumen andadaptable communicationskills. 
 

What you'll do: 

 

  • Highlightproactiveopportunities to improve top & bottom-line revenue throughcommercial projectsandsiteoptimizations 

  • Perform statistical analysis to measureimpactsof newcampaigns andinitiatives on revenue, technicalperformance,and conversion 

  • Create dashboards tomonitorairline partnerperformance, visualizing insights forstakeholders 

  • Buildand delivercompelling, data-driven business casesthatinfluence partners and internal stakeholders 

  • Evaluate revenue risks for new product and technology initiatives, proposing solutions to overcomethem 

  • Build and manage relationships witha team ofstakeholders, whilst becominganairline demand data expertover time 

  • Represent PLS Analytics team in stakeholder meetings, ensuring perspectives of broader Analytics team arecommunicated 

 

Who you are: 

 

  • At least4years’ analytical experience in online travel,e-commerce, banking, or another data-intensive commercial environment 

  • Firm understanding of revenue drivers and commercialenvironment 

  • Good understanding of statistics with ability to apply to commercial problem solving 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysisand conceptsin an easily understandable way for audiences with varied technical skills. 

  • Ability toindependently manage and prioritize requests from a wide variety of stakeholders, solving theobjectiveand not necessarily the ask 

  • Strong SQL skills, with ability to write SQL from scratch, and good understanding ofdatabases 

  • Experience with data visualization tools (i.e.,Tableau) 

  • Demonstrated skills in clickstream analytics, with experience in tools like Adobe or Google Analytics.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
