We are seeking an experiencedCloudera Architectfor a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Cloudera-based solutions to support enterprise-scale data platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:

  • Design and implementCloudera Data Platform (CDP)solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • StrongCloudera experiencewith expertise inCloudera Data Platform (CDP), Cloudera Manager, and Cloudera Navigator.
  • Strong knowledge ofHadoop ecosystemand related technologies such asHDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Strong AWS services/Architecture experiencewith hands-on expertise incloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong Big Data experience, includingdata lakes, ETL pipelines, and streaming architectures.
  • Strong Data Architecture and Solutions experience, collaborating with stakeholders to definebig data architecture, data ingestion strategies, and governance frameworks.
  • OptimizeHadoop ecosystemcomponents to enhance data processing capabilities.
  • Ensure best practices fordata security, access controls, and compliance, includingKerberos, TLS, and Ranger policies.
  • Lead migration projects from legacy platforms toCloudera CDP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolveperformance bottlenecksand platform-related issues.
  • Experience withcontainerization (Docker, Kubernetes)and automation tools such asAnsible, Terraformis a plus.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Scala, Bash, SQL).
  • Knowledge ofdata governance, GDPR, and compliance frameworksis advantageous.
  • Work closely withDevOps, Data Engineering, and Infrastructureteams to streamline operations.
  • Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing with internal teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
