Job Title: Clinical Coder (Temporary, Full-Time)

Salary: £30–£35 per hour

About the Role:
Meridian Business Support is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clinical Coder to join our NHS Client  on a full-time, temporary basis in Carshalton. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, ensuring accurate and timely coding of clinical data.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately code clinical information from patient records using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 standards.
Ensure data quality and compliance with national coding standards and guidelines.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to clarify documentation and support accurate coding.
Assist with audits and quality improvement initiatives related to clinical coding.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information in line with GDPR and organizational policies.Requirements:

Accredited Clinical Coder qualification or extensive experience in clinical coding.
Proficiency in using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 coding systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with healthcare professionals.Benefits:
