A successful Engineering business based on the Suffolk / Norfolk border is looking to recruit a Business Systems Technician to join their friendly team.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Support the day to day functions of the ERP system across the business
  
  
• Apply new and existing business systems and processes to improve efficiencies across the business
  
  
• To assist the Business Systems Manager in developing and implementing change to the ERP system.
  
  
• To assist the IT Systems Manager in managing and maintaining server based technologies required to support the ERP system.
  
  
• Support current and future business needs through the development of new reports, kpi’s and dashboards.
  
  
• To have a general understanding of IT in business to assist the support requirement in busy periods
  
  
• To register all calls to the Help Desk, advising on timescale to deal with the problem and respond appropriately.
  
  The ideal candidate will hold qualifications within IT or a computer based subject (or equivalent experience)
  You should be a good communicator and customer focused, being able to problem solve and provide IT solutions.
  Operational experience with ERP systems is essential.
  
  The successful candidate will help to deliver essential KPI’s, process automation, system integration, business intelligence and first line support
