Assess the client's current database and processes. Determine whether it is fit for purpose and if not, explain why and suggest alternatives.

Client Details

The client is a Charity providing support to the people of Lancashire.

Description

Responsibilities:

Assess the current capabilities of the IT database to ensure that the following are in place for the current organisational requirements:
Accurate project groups and set up;
Accurate user groups in line with organisational requirements;
Correct user permissions;
Accurate data integrity and reporting processes.
Accurate and timely maintenance of the reporting log with errors and system updates;
Undertake process mapping for all connected processes, consulting with stakeholders and documenting procedures accurately;
Create reporting functionality to ensure that accurate data can be extracted in line with organisational need;
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, lead a project to assess whether or not the current database is fit for purpose for the organisation. Undertake a feasibility study involving relevant stakeholders including service managers, map process requirements and produce recommendations for further consideration;
Supervise the data administrator, ensure that their work priorities and tasks are in line with organisational requirements, providing training and support on a day-to-day basis;
Train and develop other users on the system and relevant processes as required;
To undertake any duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature, as may be determined by the CEO from time to time in agreement with the post holder and after consultation.Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills/experience

Essential

Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst
Pro-active, can-do attitude
Ability to work on your own but also as part of a team

Desirable

Experience of Substance Views system
Previous experience working for a Charity or Not For Profit organisationJob Offer

Although this role will initially require some time on site understanding the systems and processes in place, there should be scope for hybrid working.

It is expected that the role will sit outside IR35
