Fitch Group is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist (at Associate Director / Director level) based out of our London office.

Accordingly, our Finance and HR functions have a strong partnership with close cooperation between the Group FP&A and the HR Data and Compensation teams. We are investing further in our HCM analytical capability by creating a new role aligned to the FP&A and HR team. The role will report to the FP&A Lead, Global Finance and work alongside the MIS team in HR and CDO. 


This is a high-profile role and principal stakeholders include the CFO, CHRO, CEO and the Divisional Presidents.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

Collaborating with the business groups to support them in strategic initiatives.


Analyzing large data sets from disperse sources, developing conclusions and presenting actionable recommendations to senior management.
Assist the Finance and Human Resources teams and other departments in analytics initiatives driving business intelligence strategy.
Ability to streamline and automate processes using existing technology solutions.
Strong back-end skills. The balance of time between back-end and front-end development can vary, largely influenced by the quality and availability of existing data.

You May be a Good Fit if:

Come from a strong Data Analytics background 5+ years of experience primarily in the data analytics field.


3+ year hands-on experience using Power BI.
2+ years of experience with SQL.
Should have 3+ years of data engineering experience preferably with a Financial services company. Must be able to analyze complex datasets.
Ability to design backend ETL for data extraction, build data models and maintain existing dashboard libraries.
Experience of working with ERP systems, Oracle, SAP, SAP BW and SAP BO preferred.
Experience with Qlik or other data visualisation applications.

What Would Make You Stand Out: 

Experience working with Human Resources, Finance and FP&A teams, and have good understanding of financial and human capital reporting.


A proficiency in building relationships with stakeholders to effectively capture use cases and requirements for business intelligence solutions.
Capabilities in training end users on BI applications, preparing documentation and supporting best practice across the team.
Comfortable using analytical/critical thinking skills to solve complex problems involving large data sets.
Financial services background would be a plus.
Proficiency in SQL, R / Python, and other BI tools such as Qlik.
