Who We Are Looking For
We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our
OpenDoor
team as a
Business Intelligence
Manager.
This is a Full-time position based in
London. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver
consistency, delivery excellence and best in class service
for Amazon
in every country
across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.
This role forms part of a
globally-distributed
business intelligence team, whose objective is to ensure that one of our most important global accounts
have
access to the right data and insights to inform their marketing decisions.
The team’s primary responsibility is to maintain a global Amazon Web Services (AWS)- based reporting solution, which automates the collection and transformation of disparate marketing data into a single source of truth for use by both the agency and the brand. Not only does that mean running and maintaining the solution that already exists, but also continually improving it to incorporate new features from the Choreograph Measure platform, add new data sources, and to aid in deriving new insights in support of ever-evolving business demands.
As a BI Manager your primary responsibility will be
ensuring
operations are in place and managed such that reporting data is complete, that collection and data models run correctly, that new requests and issues are logged and handled by the team’s engineers.
You will interface with client and agency users across 29 markets, gathering their evolving needs, vetting requirements for feasibility and supporting them in the use of the reporting solution. You will have 1 or 2 Reporting Executives reporting to you in
market
to assist in these
endeavors
, balance workloads, and
fulfill
requirements. The team also enlists engineers, project and scrum managers, and business analysts who will aid in the
build
and support of this reporting solution.
The data processes you will manage will support 3 global client-side ROI models, 2 global client-side reports, and a suite of media and operational dashboards and reports in support of agency stakeholders.

Engage with media stakeholders to ensure that data is complete, that requirements are achievable, and that deadlines are met.
Lead junior staff in addressing opportunities and problems to improve the quality, speed, cost, and efficiency of delivering and using media reporting data
Help document user requirements, and support their incorporation into a central
development backlog for prioritization
Within development sprints, be responsible for planning and developing solutions for prioritized requirements to deliver ongoing improvements within the Amazon
QuickSight
visualization layer
Work with account leadership to understand and track the reporting needs for upcoming campaigns and marketing programs
Lead the creation and weekly refresh of campaign-specific instances within the reporting solution, often requiring coordination of dependent tasks across disciplines and/or geographies
Support members of the team tasked with maintaining the underlying data infrastructure by troubleshooting data issues and running scheduled tasks
Ensure users have the necessary skills & knowledge to use the reporting solution, including helping maintain training materials and knowledge base
Be the
first-line
of support for users, triaging queries as they come in, providing them with hands-on support where possible, and connecting them with other disciplines and experts when necessary
Identify opportunities to improve supporting cross-discipline processes, and work with others to make them a reality
Familiarity with advertising performance (e.g. role of ad servers and other third-party tech vendors) data and measurement, preferably with experience at an entry-level or intern-level position
An understanding of how media performance should be measured, and experience
using different methods to visualize performance and to tell stories with data
Sharable dashboards, reports, repositories, or other demonstration in your data organization and visualization tools
Analytically minded, enabling you to understand and overcome technical and procedural challenges
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, allowing you to bring structure to an otherwise unstructured situation
Strong spoken and written communication skills, ensuring your thoughts and needs are heard and understood by a diverse, global audience
Can-do attitude, with an ability to multi-task and remain calm and composed under pressure
Exude positivity and energy, and you can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment

BONUS POINTS
Experience project managing the delivery of technical solutions, including exposure to agile product development methodologies
Experience building underlying data pipelines and ETL, particularly useful if done using Amazon Web Services,
Adverity
, DBT etc.
Knowledge and experience using other programming and/or statistical languages (e.g. Python, R, etc.)
