Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join a leading Lloyd's Insurance syndicate in London. You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the data platform, data warehousing, and the continued development of management information and business intelligence systems. This position involves close collaboration with the Head of Data & Analytics and guiding a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions and insights.

Responsibilities
Work alongside the Head of Data & Technology to maintain and enhance the data platform and data warehousing capabilities.
Develop and deliver insightful management information (MI) and business intelligence (BI) solutions.
Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Provide guidance and technical direction to the BI/Data team.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business-driven data solutions.
Analyse complex datasets to support strategic decision-making processes.

Required Skills & Knowledge:
Extensive, practical experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack (2022)
Strong background in SQL and data warehousing
Demonstrated expertise in data engineering tasks, including release management, environment governance, and CI/CD pipeline orchestration
Proficient in both Python and Power BI
Proven track record in Microsoft BI development, encompassing database and reporting development across the full software development lifecycle
Skilled in data modelling, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, with a high level of attention to detail and adaptability
Experience working for a leading consultancy, with a strong understanding of delivering high-quality solutions in client-facing environments
Ability to effectively engage with business stakeholders and translate their requirements into robust data and analytics solutions
Experience designing and delivering sophisticated BI/MI solutions aligned with architectural standards and technology frameworks

Analysis Services (Multidimensional & Tabular), Power BI
Python, MDX, DAX
