Now let\\\'s talk about your role:

As part of the UK Business Intelligence Team, theBI Developerwill work closely with stakeholders to understand and shape their reporting needs. You\\\'ll then create insightful PowerBI dashboards that are fully automated and governed.

Additionally, theBI Developerwill use their SQL and Power BI skills to automate the production of reports that are currently done manually. Collaborating with the Data Management Team, to ensure all key metrics and dimensions are accurately produced and documented in the Data Warehouse.

Your mission:

  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain custom visuals and dashboards that provide insights into key business trends and facilitate questioning and actions.
  • Work with the Data Management Team on developing and optimising data warehouse capability
  • Query tables using SQL and work on ways to optimise business performance.
  • Pay key attention to detail and have an inquisitive mind

This role would be ideal for a recent Graduate or someone early on in their BI Development career!

What we need from you?

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable communicating and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to \\\'grasp the ask\\\' is key.
  • SQL (mandatory): a strong understanding of SQL and be comfortable reading and writing complex SQL queries ideally across multiple platforms.
  • Experience of working with Power BI and a natural flair for creative data visualisation.
  • Competent at understanding and converting complex logic into actionable insights.
  • Experience of Qlikview or Qliksense would be an advantage.
