Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Developer with experience in the development and implementation of BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BI tools such as PowerBI and a strong background in data analytics

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

BI Solution Development:Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using PowerBI and other relevant BI tools.Create interactive and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support data-driven decision-making.Data Management:Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into BI tools.Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across different datasets.Develop and maintain data models, including star schema and snowflake schema designs.Analysis and Reporting:Working with senior member of the BI team to analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with IT teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure BI solutions meet business objectives.Quality Assurance:Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of BI solutions through rigorous testing and validation.Documentation:Develop and maintain thorough documentation of BI solutions, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (, Certified Business Intelligence Professional) are preferred. Previous experience in BI development and implementation. Proficiency in PowerBI is required. Experience with other BI tools (, Tableau, QlikView) is a plus. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Azure, or relevant DevOps certifications. Background in data science or analytics, with practical knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with healthcare data standards and interoperability frameworks (, HL7, FHIR). Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
