Business Intelligence Analyst - Warrington

My client is seeking an experienced Business Insight professional who is passionate about data and databases for the role of Junior Data Analyst in a rapidly growing industry. Join a vibrant, young team where you'll quickly feel part of the family!

You will report to theData Quality Team Leader. Your responsibilities will include exploratory data analysis, building and maintaining marketing databases, data preparation & cleansing, and producing data audits and reports for clients across various business sectors.

Key duties:

• Proven VBA skills with experience deploying VBA in Excel (essential).
• Knowledge of at least one statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, PSPP, Minitab, Matlab, R, or Python.
• Building and maintaining relational databases.
• Data preparation, transformation, and cleansing.
• Performing exploratory data analysis using statistical methods.
• Using statistical programs for forecasting, descriptive, or predictive modeling (e.g., decision trees, cluster analysis, regression).
• Utilizing marketing systems like FastStats, Viper, or similar for analysis and reporting.
• Developing and implementing statistical models in production environments.
• Creating bespoke analytical, management, and marketing reports based on client needs.
• Interpreting and presenting findings to clients.
• Assisting clients in managing their marketing activities more effectively.
• A numeric-based degree.
• Strong IT skills, especially in Excel, including functions, formulas, and pivot tables.
• Ability to learn new technologies and platforms as needed.
• Attention to detail and structured thinking.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
